Welcome to Riverbend International School. Riverbend is a College Preparatory Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics (STEAM) school located 40 miles north of Kansas City, Kansas. Our beautiful 160 acre campus is located just north of Atchison, Kansas in Atchison County. Riverbend has a small student to teacher ratio, and is a place where we strive to see students excel to new heights of accomplishment and new depths of understanding. Dr. Paul Ogle History
Dr. Paul Ogle accepted the position as Headmaster of Riverbend International School in April 2014. This position currently serves as both Superintendent and Principal of the school and boarding facility.
Prior to coming to Riverbend International School, Dr. Ogle served as a science teacher at Atchison High School for 10 years. Dr. Ogle introduced Atchison High School to the B.E.S.T. robotics competition, KU Mindstorm and Engineering competitions, K-State windmill competition, Worlds of Fun Roller Coaster building competition, as well as served as the National Honor Society Sponsor, FCA sponsor, and Homework Club sponsor.
Additionally, Dr. Ogle has also taught biology, chemistry, physics, anatomy, physiology, and microbiology as an adjunct professor for Highland Community College, Barton County Community College, Dodge City Community College, Colby Community College, and Butler County Community College.
Dr. Paul Ogle has a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Missouri Southern State University in Joplin, Missouri, a Master of Science in Biology from Fort Hays State University in Hays, Kansas, and a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from Baker University in Baldwin City, Kansas.
